I have moderate emphysema and only one hour after turning on the basket of salt rocks yesterday afternoon, I noticed my lung capacity had increased and my breathing improved. A very noticeable difference - more noticeable improvement than after I use my Ventolin or Trelegy inhalers. My IDW19 watch has always shown 97% blood oxygen level and today is registering 100% My finger oximeter, however, is still registering 97%. I don't understand the reason for the discrepancy in the readings, but I know I am experiencing remarkable improvement. I am not nearly as short of breath when walking around and am feeling more energy. I hope it lasts.

The basket is so beautiful the chunks of salt are amazing I love it on the counter I've been to several salt caves and the chunks of salt that they have in them is resembled in this piece . Truly a piece of art my only concern was that the light did not have a metal guard around it but I have not had any problems with it being hit by the Stones. We'll purchase again it's beautiful ❤️.

Dimming the lamp at night is so relaxing! During the early evening turning the brightness up is better than turning on my living room lamps, plus more energy saving. This is the best purchase I ever made!
Just Beautiful! I already own three in different styles, and this is by far my favorite. It was hard to tell exactly what color the basket was when I first opened it, so I took it outside to look at it in the sun. It is a very lovely antique blackish silver but is subtle enough that it would match any decor, and looks great on my light cherry sofa table.
Very lovely! I have ordered one for my mother-in-law for Mother's Day (yes, I love my mother-in-law!) and unwrapped and assembled it before giving it to her so that I can test it (I disassembled it and put it back in the box before giving it to her). The basket and the salt rocks (of which you get plenty) look gorgeous, especially when you can adjust the lighting (adjustable switch on the cord is a nice touch), and of good quality. I have also ordered another Rock Salt Bowl Lamp from a different company and, while the idea is nice, the bowl came in chipped in front which made me think that the whole thing will fall apart once a little bit melted--so I have returned that one and ordered another Himalayan Trading Co. salt lamp basket for my sister-in-law for Mother's Day. Both my in-law relatives love their lamps. I am going to order one for myself as well.
This light has literally changed my life. I used to wake up every morning with sneezing and congestion due to allergies, but since we've had this light going in our bedroom I wake up completely clear. I will admit to being very skeptical about all the claims made online about salt lamps, but I am a believer now. It also looks very nice on our dresser, and I really prefer the ambience of a red light over an LED nightlight. It feels like candlelight. I've been using it 24/7 for about 6 months now, and the original light bulb is still going. It was turned off for a couple days last week due to some electrical issues, and within a day I was waking up sneezing again. A day or two after it went back on, I was fine. Strange but true.....I am just so happy to be waking up comfortably after years dealing with allergies.
I got this as a bedside "feeding lamp" and its perfect. at its lowest it gives the corner of the room a faint pink/red glow just bright enough to find my water without knocking it over. at its brightest I can use it to change a diaper in a pitch black room without waking up my husband or my baby. mostly i use it to do nighttime breastfeeding. the dial is easy to use and I can do it one handed. The soft glow is very calming and after a nightmare turning it on can help me relax enough to go back to bed.
The salt lamp was professionally packaged with the salt chunks contained in a sealed plastic bag, a protective cylinder of cardboard was on the lamp bulb. The box was large enough to contain the wire basket with the salt chunks in the sealed bag, yet small enough to hold the contents snugly. I have had the salt lamps on, on full power all day, every day for a month. The light is very ambient, there is a very light scent similar to ozone in the air. I want more of these lamps if only for the beautiful, serene glow they give off.
This is so beautiful! You place the salt the way you want it in the basket so it's messy at first but then it's fine. It's just where they have been shifted in shipping. They give off a gorgeous glow! I've had several compliments on it. I took some photos to show size comparison and the beauty of it. I'm truly pleased with this!

Love this salt lamp. This the 3rd salt lamp I have purchased. They are on 24/7. I love the ambiance.
My favorite thing about this lamp is that when it's been running awhile I can pick up one of the salt rocks and feel the warmth. It works great, looks great, has a nice little dimmer wheel. You should definitely buy it.
Although the delivery was delayed through no fault of Himalayan Trading; my understanding, the wait was well worth the effort. The lamp is unique, beautiful, and enhances my cherry wood decor handsomely.
