    Ordering

    How do I place an order on Himalayan Trading Co.?

    Ordering from Himalayan Trading Co. is simple:

    1. Select the item you want to buy
    2. Click Add to Cart
    3. Click Checkout and complete your shipping and payment details

    Once your order is placed, you will receive an order confirmation email.

    How do I apply a discount code?

    1. Copy your discount code
    2. Go to your Cart and click Checkout
    3. On the checkout page, look for the Discount code / Coupon box
    4. Paste your code and click Apply
    5. Complete the rest of your information and payment

    About Himalayan Salt Lamps

    What is a Himalayan salt lamp?

    Himalayan salt lamps are carved from natural crystal salt rock mined from deep inside the Himalayan mountain region of Pakistan. This salt is roughly 250 million years old.

    Each lamp is unique in shape and color and is known for creating a warm, calming glow. Many people use them to create a relaxing atmosphere in bedrooms, living rooms, offices, and wellness spaces.

    Some holistic sources also suggest potential benefits such as:

    • Supporting a relaxing environment

    Do all salt lamps look the same?

    Shipping & Delivery

    What are your shipping conditions?

    We offer free shipping on all products within the United States via USPS, UPS, or FedEx.

    Most orders ship within 2–3 business days. Once your order ships, you will receive an email with a tracking number.

    Where is my order?

    You can track your order using the tracking link sent in your shipping confirmation email. If you need help, you can also check your order status HERE

    My package shows “Delivered” but I did not receive it. What should I do?

    If the tracking shows Delivered but you do not have the package:

    1. Check with family members, neighbors, leasing office, or building management
    2. Look around porches, side doors, garages, and usual delivery spots
    3. Contact your local post office or carrier with the tracking number

    Since the carrier has marked the package as delivered, they are usually the best first point of contact. Depending on the situation and once we review the details, we may be able to re-send the item or offer a store credit.

    What if my item arrives damaged?

    If your order arrives broken or damaged, we will take care of it.

    What is your return policy?

    You have 30 days from the delivery date to return or exchange your unused item for:

    • A full refund, or
    • A full store credit

    Safety, Use & Care

    Is it safe to leave my Himalayan salt lamp on?

    Our lamps use low-wattage bulbs. Many customers leave them on for several hours at a time to enjoy the glow. However, we recommend:

    • Always using the cord and bulb as specified on the product
    • Keeping the lamp on a stable surface
    • Turning it off when you are away for long periods or while sleeping if you prefer extra caution

    Always follow general electrical safety practices.

    Why is my Himalayan salt lamp “sweating” or leaking water?

    Salt naturally attracts moisture from the air. In very humid environments, your lamp may:

    • “Sweat” or feel damp
    • Leave a small ring of moisture on the surface underneath

    To reduce this:

    • Keep the lamp on for a few hours each day to keep it warm and dry
    • Use a coaster or tray under the lamp
    • Avoid placing it in very damp rooms or outdoors

    How do I care for and clean my Himalayan salt lamp?

    • Do not wash your lamp under running water
    • To clean, use a slightly damp cloth, wipe gently, then dry with a soft towel
    • Keep it in a dry place away from excessive humidity
    • Use only the recommended bulb wattage and a properly fitting cord

    Is it safe around children and pets?

    Himalayan salt lamps are generally safe when used as intended:

    • Place them out of reach of small children and pets
    • Make sure the lamp is stable and cannot be easily knocked over

    Yes, our orders are very gift-friendly. By default, we do not include prices on the packing slip inside the box.

    The packing slip included with your order will only show:

    • Basic shipping details

    It will not show any prices, payment information, or credit card details. This makes it easy to send our products directly as gifts without revealing how much you paid.
